These terms cover musimpanen.id, the Musimpanen Lab account at id.musimpanen.id, and every experiment at *.musimpanen.id. They're run by PT Musim Panen Harmonis ("Musimpanen", "we"). By creating a Lab account or using an experiment, you agree to them. How we handle your data is in our privacy policy.
What the Lab is
The Lab is where we build small experiments in the open: free, non-commercial prototypes. One free account opens all of them. Experiments can change, pause or close at any time, and some will be retired once we've learned what we wanted to learn.
Not an official source
Experiments are prototypes, not official services. Data can be late, incomplete or wrong, and forecasts are estimates. Don't rely on them for decisions about safety, health, emergencies, money or the law. Use official sources for that. For example, for forest and land fires in Indonesia, use SiPongi+ and BMKG.
Your account
- One account per person, for your own use. Keep access to your email or Google account safe: that's how you sign in.
- The account is free. If that ever changes for an experiment, we'll say so clearly before anything is charged.
- You can delete your account at any time at id.musimpanen.id/account.
Fair use
Please don't:
- scrape, bulk-download or resell the experiments or their data, or use them to build a competing commercial service;
- try to get around the sign-in, overload our servers, or probe for security holes without asking us first;
- share your account, or use the Lab to break the law or harm others.
We may suspend or close accounts that do, without notice if needed to protect the Lab or other people.
Sharing what you see
You're welcome to share screenshots and links of experiments for news, research, education or personal use. Please credit "Musimpanen Lab" and keep the data sources named on the page (for example NASA FIRMS and Open-Meteo), whose own terms also apply.
Ownership
The Lab, its experiments, design, code and the Musimpanen names and logos belong to PT Musim Panen Harmonis. Third-party data stays with its providers under their licences.
No warranties, limited liability
The Lab is provided free and "as is", without warranties of any kind. As far as Indonesian law allows, we're not liable for losses that come from using or relying on an experiment, or from it being unavailable.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and, for account holders, tell you by email. Continuing to use the Lab after that means you accept the new terms.
Law and contact
